Stack Tower Insanity
Effective date: July 10, 2026 · Developer: Greyfox Studio
This privacy policy explains what information Stack Tower Insanity (the “App”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Information you provide
- Display name — an optional nickname you can set on your profile. It is shown on the public leaderboard next to your score.
- Avatar and frame selection — the cosmetic items you choose for your profile, also visible on the leaderboard.
Information collected automatically
- Anonymous account identifier — when the App first starts, an anonymous account is created automatically (via Supabase) so your scores, coins, and cosmetics can be stored. This identifier is random and is not linked to your name, email address, or any real-world identity.
- Gameplay data — your scores, highest floor reached, achievements, in-game coin balance, and owned cosmetic items.
- Purchase information — if you make an in-app purchase, our purchase-processing provider (RevenueCat) receives purchase receipts and an anonymous app user ID so we can unlock what you bought and restore purchases across reinstalls. We never see or store your payment card details; payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Advertising data— the App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device advertising ID, IP address, and coarse device information to serve and measure ads. If you purchase “Remove Ads,” no ads are shown.
- Game services data— if you are signed in to Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iOS), achievements and leaderboard entries may be reported to those services under your platform account, subject to Google's or Apple's own privacy policies.
What we do NOT collect
- No email address, phone number, or real name is required or collected by us.
- No precise location data.
- No contacts, photos, files, or microphone/camera access.
How we use information
- To save your game progress, wallet balance, and cosmetics across sessions and devices.
- To display the public leaderboard (display name, avatar, frame, score, floor).
- To deliver and restore in-app purchases.
- To show ads (unless removed via purchase).
- To unlock achievements on Google Play Games / Game Center.
Third-party services
The App uses the following service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Supabase (backend and database) — supabase.com/privacy
- RevenueCat (in-app purchase management) — revenuecat.com/privacy
- Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Games Services (Android achievements/leaderboards) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple Game Center (iOS achievements/leaderboards) — apple.com/legal/privacy
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, to the extent needed to operate the App. Your display name, avatar, frame, score, and floor are visible to other players on the public leaderboard.
Data retention and deletion
Gameplay data is retained for as long as the anonymous account exists. You can:
- Change or clear your display name at any time in the Profile tab.
- Request deletion of all data tied to your anonymous account by emailing support@greyfoxstudio.dev. Because accounts are anonymous, please contact us from within reach of the device/app so we can identify the account to delete. Uninstalling the App also permanently abandons the anonymous account on that device.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is rated for a general audience through the IARC content rating system.
Advertising choices
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Server-side data is protected with row-level security so one player cannot read or modify another player's private data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
